The Sharp aquos range, has built itself a reputation of being a leader in picture quality and colour sharpness. What you need to know is, does Sharp Aquos LC46D85U 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV live up to its star status?

After hunting around for user feedback, i was quite surprised with the results found!

The Sharp Aquos LC46D85U is packed with all the usual upto date features, yu would expect from a class leader, 46-Inch screen, HDTV ready, 120Hz refresh rate, 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 5 HDMI 1.3ports and USB 2.0 access.

However! the feedback is mainly positive, particularly when using the game mode, whilst playing through a games console, such as PS3 or Xbox360, or watching action movies via a Blu-Ray DVD, there is no blurring from the rapid picture movement, I would say its amongst the best, but there is a "BUT", I have received some negative feedback, albeit minor one,and it was regarding the delay than can sometimes occur turing the unit ON/OFF, it can be a smuch as 15mins, it turned out OK in the end.

There are some reports, that the sound system at 10watts per channel, is not really upto the job, but as mentioned earlier, the picture quality is considered to be excellent and is somewhat cheaper than its main rivals, for this level of set.
