Sony BDVIS1000 5.1ch Blu-RayDisc/DVD Home Theater System

If you are in the market for an all in one Blu-Ray disc 5.1 theater package then this unit will be in your top 5 short listed products, as the user reviews verify.

The speakers are very small, giving you almost complete discretion in your home as well as that they are also wireless (very useful), that statement is almost true, you will need a separate receiver box, known by Sony as the S-Air wireless signal system, which does require you to have the wires running from your main Blu-ray player into the receiver which must have mains power connection.

This unit has 2*HDMI inputs as well as the Blu-Ray 2.0 which will receive network updates when released.

There are however a couple of negative points, that raised there head, during the research on this product and that is there are problems with the S-Air wireless signal system, but with a little perserverance, on the re-connection can be overcome with a little patience.

Not what I would expect having spent the best part of $550, I would want the system to be working from the first minute, however, the results are very encouraging if you can get passed this niggly problem.

That this product, although excells on the sound of the system when you have it working correctly, there just seems to be, too many issues regarding the paring up sequence of the S-Air wireless signal system, and because of that, I would takwe a long hard look, having said that, the user feedback is very positive, once you get your system preforming as it should, for me, that just a little too much trouble

The actual user feedback is hit and miss, regarding the pairing up of the rear speakers to themain unit
